I experimented with lighting this time, really. Tried to make it look cool
I wanted to make her look innocent and childlike here. I still wish that I was a kid, you know... people my age don't act like 13 year olds anymore, you'd think they were 16 or 17 or 18, not barely just a teenager.... it really makes me sad because I see all this people in my school who are growing up so fast, too fast, they're missing out on what it really is to be a kid. It's not even like they're acting older for their age as in being sensible and mature, it's the complete opposite of that. I mean, one day they're all going to wake up and find out that they wasted their entire childhood. They'll have to go to work and earn money and whatever and it'll seem really dull because they didn't act like a child when they actually were one. Anyway.... enough of that! I really like this picture for once! The pose is from here [link] Oh- and you can see the sketch here-[link] ~Alice hmmmmm... this is about infinitely better than this other picture of Saria-[link] I've got nothing more to say.,/sub> Comments
You have SUCH an adorable style - she looks like she's running away from having done something a little bit naughty. It's a great expression!
-- [link] We talk honestly about books. awwwwww thanks! It's always nice to hear people say they like my style, because I don't think I have one really, it keeps changing xD
ha ha that's the expression I was going for -- screw this, I\'m moving to Narnia commissions open - [link] Mmm... I love acting younger than 15... it's so refreshing to just start giggling insanely in the middle of a conversation.

Now onto the less-fun stuff. The sunny effect of the lighting is very nice, butit needs to be softened. the way the light reflects off of her makes her look a bit like plastic. this is more evident in the leg, perhaps because the light source appears to be coming from above, in which case the leg wouldn't illuminate as much as her arm.
Also, her hands. they've improved immensely, but they look a little clawlike. remember on her left hand, that the middle finger is longer than the others.
Last problem: the background. The colors fit very well, but the circles/bubbles make it look like she's underwater. I would suggest some leaf or tree brushes, or if you want to stay this abstract some straight lines. If you have to keep the bubbles, I would suggest making them yellow rather than green, to make it seem like they're sun or something.
Anyway, you've improved a lot, and you continue to leap forward with every picture. I hope you'll consider these ideas as you do your next picture. I look forward to seeing it
